Repentance involves both sorrow for sin and changing one’s direction. We must forsake sin if we claim to know, love, and follow Christ.

All who come to Christ in repentance and faith should expect Him to change them in multiple ways. Repentance assumes change.

God can restore any broken relationship regardless of the depth of the chasm between Him and the person. He is a God of second chances.
